Our Mission

EPHESIANS 2:4-5 (NIV)
They become what the New Testament calls a born-again believer — a person who lives in Christ, from Christ, and through Christ. This is what we were made for: union with God through Jesus.
When the Holy Spirit indwells us, He does not simply help us live our lives — He lives His own life through us. Jesus becomes our life and our source. A living relationship with Him is now the centre of who we are.
The question shifts. We stop asking, “God, what should I do?” and start asking, “Jesus, how do you want to live through me?”
''I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.''
GALATIANS 2:20 (NIV)
We keep asking the question the New Testament keeps asking: have you truly received what Christ has done, or are you still trying to do it yourself?
We ask this question of long-time believers too. Religiousness, false teaching, or the lies they have come to believe can quietly keep the Gospel from doing its work in them. They struggle with the same things as if God were not living in them. The old life goes on.
As the mind is renewed through the teaching of the truth, believers come to see the truth that sets them free — and the new life Christ has already placed in them. From that ground, they begin to live.
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
JOHN 10:10B (NKJV)
The first pillar of ALIVE is the inner rebirth in Christ, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Whoever receives the Gospel by faith is made new in that moment. The old self has been crucified with Christ; a new self is alive in Him now.
Jesus did not come to make good people out of bad people; He came to make dead people alive.
Receiving, becoming alive, and being transformed
''But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions — it is by grace you have been saved.''
Our mission has 2 pillars: Receiving & overflowing

2
Sharing what we received so that others become alive
Once a believer has received the gospel and is transformed, he becomes a child of God and an ambassador of the Gospel. He becomes a witness of how great God is and what he has experienced in his own life. The love of God received is the motivation to share the Good News with others.
We support each believer while the Holy Spirit leads them in discovering the gifts God has placed in them, forming the character that will carry those gifts, and stepping into the work of building God's kingdom.
A person made new in Christ does not stay still. Jesus in them wants to give Himself away, wherever He has placed them. They become what He called His followers to be:
Some are sent outward — into a family, a workplace, a neighbourhood, a country, a hard place. Some are rooted here, in a role within ALIVE itself. The direction is God's to give.
God places a specific call on every believer's life. We help each person find it and follow it — wherever it leads. We follow what God says. Those sent outward stay connected to us in prayer, friendship, and support.
Every believer carries the same supply: the Spirit indwelling, His gifts at work, His promise that He will never leave them (2 Peter 1:3).
But Pillar Two only matters once Pillar One has done its work. Service without transformation is the trap many sincere Christians fall into — wanting to do good for God instead of letting Jesus live His life through them. The light a person shines must come from a real fire inside.
“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.”
